finaldollardogWelcome to the Dollar Dog Kids Club® and Savings Account! Designed for our youngest members, ages 5-12, this club and savings account will help kids learn how to manage their money and get into the savings habit. Members of the Dollar Dog Kids Club will receive personalized newsletters, birthday cards and be able to use this informative, interactive website.

We give kids their own special rate of 1.00% APY* on the first $500 deposited to kickstart their savings. Funds in excess of $500.00 will earn the regular share rate. View current Dividend Rates.

Additional Requirements

A responsible adult (with proper government-issued I.D.) needs to be a joint account holder for members below age 15. On all of our youth savings accounts, the youth is the primary account holder. Therefore, be sure to provide a Social Security Number for both the primary and any joint holder on the account.

Having a Dollar Dog savings account allows you access to the Dollar Dog website just for kids! On this site kids will learn about saving and spending in the Dollar Dog Clubhouse, play games, laugh at jokes and more.

*APY = Annual Percentage Yield rates subject to change without notice. 1.00% APY applies to balances up to $500.00 only and balance over $500 will earn the Regular Share Savings rate. The Credit Union Board of Directors will review and adjust the Dividend rate monthly. For current Interest Rate please refer to the published Dividend rates. Membership eligibility and $25 minimum balance required to maintain a Regular Share savings account. Rate applies only to Dollar Dog, Cha-Ching, and the edge youth savings accounts.
