The USX Federal Credit Union Borrower Security Program is a voluntary loan-payment protection product that gives you relief from the financial burden of delinquency, default or foreclosure if a life event such as death, disability or job loss unexpectedly happens to you. This program includes simple eligibility requirements to ease the enrollment process.

In addition to offering Mechanical Repair Coverage when you are obtaining a loan, this exciting direct marketing channel provides you with options for purchasing Mechanical Repair Coverage post loan for your eligible vehicles whether you've financed your vehicle or own it outright.
As your vehicle gets older, the risk and cost of repairs increase. That's when you need protection most and that's why USX Federal Credit Union offers you Mechanical Repair Coverage.
With the USX Federal Credit Union plan, you choose the amount of Mechanical Repair Coverage you need. The plan then pays for the cost of parts and labor for covered repairs. You pay just the deductible amount you select ($0, $50, $100 or $250) and drive away, regardless of the number of repairs.
Your Mechanical Repair Coverage plan also includes rental and towing reimbursements, 24-hour toll-free roadside assistance and emergency travel expenses if you break down more than 100 miles from home. The plan is good at any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada.

In addition to offering great vehicle loan rates, USX Federal Credit Union also gives you extra value and protection by offering a NEW and IMPROVED Guaranteed Asset Protection Plus with Deductible Assistance (GAP Plus) program to our members. If your vehicle is stolen, accidentally damaged beyond repair or otherwise declared a total loss, GAP Plus insurance covers the missing link between your insurance settlement and remaining loan balance. Our NEWEST Value Added benefit is Deductible Assistance. This new benefit will cancel part of your loan or loan payment when a comprehensive or collision claim is paid through your primary auto insurance carrier and a deductible is incurred. Not only does this plan ease stress over the loss of a vehicle, GAP Plus coverage is also convenient and affordable. While auto dealers may charge more than $750 for this type of coverage, your cost through USX Federal Credit Union is just $699. This includes your deductible, plus $1,000 towards a new car! The USX Federal Credit Union GAP Plus program is offered through TruStage.
