Can you believe that it’s April 2025 already? The time seems to just fly!
The team here at your credit union is very excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for this year.
We have several new and exciting projects that we’ll be working on in 2025.
In 2024, we celebrated the opening of our “new” office in Greensburg, PA, which has greatly enhanced our ability to support our members in that market and our members in the Independence Health System specifically.
In 2025, we will be relocating our office in Monaca, PA. Construction is well underway at the new location, and we hope to be in the new space soon. In addition, we will begin construction very soon on the site of our new office location in Monroeville, PA. Watch for more information on these projects in future newsletters.
We have established a new partnership with Keystone Lending Alliance to enhance our auto-lending programs. This partnership allows our members to experience “one stop shopping” when purchasing their new car. Simply find the car that they want at one of the over 400 participating dealerships here in Pennsylvania and complete that financing of that vehicle with USX Federal Credit Union while at the dealership. You can now select your car, complete the financing with USX FCU and drive home in your new vehicle all in the same day. We are very excited to offer this enhanced car buying experience to our members.
We also have established a relationship with a lending partner that will allow us to develop a business lending program for our members. This partnership will allow us to be able to offer business loans to our members that may need financing for vehicles used in their small business. In addition, the credit union will also now be able to lend to members that own and operate 1-4 unit family rental properties.
We are very excited about the opportunities that both of these new partnerships bring to the credit union.
As always, we invite you to take advantage of our enhanced self-service products and services. These products allow you to bank whenever you want, wherever you want and however you want. Everything from payroll direct deposit, online banking including bill pay, e-statements, mobile banking which includes remote check deposit, tap and go Apple Pay and Google pay and 90,000 ATMs nationwide. In addition, we offer CardTrac, which is our co-branded app for your cell phone that allows you to manage your USX FCU debit and credit cards. Just two examples of things you can do on CardTrac are to: be notified anytime your debit or credit card is used and the ability to turn your cards on or off. A new feature just recently added to CardTrac now allows you to set travel notices. This feature is also for both debit and credit cards. You can now manage travel dates and destinations yourself on the app; no need to call and notify the credit union anymore!

Thousands of shoppers worldwide pay for an Amazon Prime membership to access special deals and fast shipping. Cybercriminals know this and attempt to use this to their advantage. In this scam, you receive an email alerting you that your Prime membership will soon expire. A link in the email directs you to a PDF file.
If you open the PDF file, you will be redirected to what looks like an Amazon login page. Even though the login page looks genuine, it’s actually fake and controlled by cybercriminals. If you enter your login information, the page asks for more sensitive data, such as your home address and credit card information. If you enter your personal information and credit card number, your Amazon Prime membership won’t be renewed. Instead, cybercriminals will have stolen your login and financial information!
